Best Ever Chicken Recipe
Ingredients:-
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:-
- Prepare the Chicken:
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix together the salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, thyme, rosemary, oregano, and basil.
- Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.
- Cook the Chicken:
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Make the Sauce:
- In the same skillet, add the chicken broth and lemon juice. Stir to combine and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
- Let the mixture simmer for about 2 minutes, then add the butter. Stir until the butter is melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Combine and Serve:
- Return the chicken breasts to the skillet and spoon the sauce over them.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the chicken is heated through and well coated with the sauce.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
Tips:
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the spice mixture for at least 30 minutes or overnight before cooking.
- This dish pairs well with a side of roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.
