📝 Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 1 egg
- ½ cup milk
- ¼ cup oil
- ½ cup hot water
👩🍳 Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a small cake pan.
- In a bowl, mix dry ingredients (flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda).
- Add egg, milk, and oil. Mix until smooth.
- Stir in hot water (batter will be thin — that’s okay!).
- Pour into pan and bake 30–35 minutes.
- Let cool before slicing.
🍫 Optional Quick Frosting
Mix:
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 3 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1–2 tbsp milk
