Instructions:

  1. Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Prepare Bowls: Lightly spray the oven-safe bowls with olive oil spray to prevent sticking.
  3. Assemble Pizza Bowls:
    • Layer 1: Spread a couple of tablespoons of pizza sauce in the bottom of each bowl.
    • Layer 2: Add a layer of shredded mozzarella cheese.
    • Layer 3: Add your desired toppings like pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, black olives, and sausage.
    • Layer 4: Sprinkle with a little more cheese on top.
    • Season: Sprinkle a pinch of Italian seasoning and garlic powder over the top.
  4. Air Fry: Place the bowls in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the toppings are heated through.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Carefully remove the bowls from the air fryer (they will be hot). Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired and let them cool for a minute before serving.

Tips:

  • You can customize the pizza bowls with your favorite toppings.
  • Make sure the bowls you use are safe for the air fryer and can withstand high temperatures.
  • For a crispy top, you can broil the pizza bowls in a conventional oven for a minute or two after air frying.
