Vegan Chocolate Tart 🍫🥧🌱

Ingredients (Serves 8-10)
For the Crust:
- 1 ½ cups (150g) almond flour (or oat flour for nut-free)
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 3 tbsp melted coconut oil
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
For the Chocolate Filling:
- 200g (7 oz) vegan dark chocolate, chopped
- 1 cup (240ml) full-fat coconut milk
- 2 tbsp maple syrup (or sweetener of choice)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- A pinch of sea salt
Optional Toppings:
- Fresh berries (strawberries, raspberries) 🍓
- Crushed nuts (almonds, hazelnuts) 🌰
- Shaved dark chocolate 🍫
Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the Crust
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix almond flour, cocoa powder, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, vanilla, and salt.
- Press the mixture into a 9-inch tart pan evenly.
- Bake for 10 minutes, then let it cool completely.
2️⃣ Make the Chocolate Filling
- In a saucepan, heat coconut milk until warm (not boiling).
- Remove from heat and add chopped chocolate. Let it sit for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth.
- Mix in maple syrup, vanilla extract, and sea salt.
3️⃣ Assemble & Chill
- Pour the chocolate mixture into the cooled crust.
- Smooth the top and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or overnight) until set.
4️⃣ Garnish & Serve
- Top with fresh berries, nuts, or shaved chocolate.
- Slice and enjoy! 🍫✨
