Vegan Chocolate Tart 🍫🥧🌱

Ingredients (Serves 8-10)

For the Crust:

  • 1 ½ cups (150g) almond flour (or oat flour for nut-free)
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 3 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

For the Chocolate Filling:

  • 200g (7 oz) vegan dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup (240ml) full-fat coconut milk
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup (or sweetener of choice)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • A pinch of sea salt

Optional Toppings:

  • Fresh berries (strawberries, raspberries) 🍓
  • Crushed nuts (almonds, hazelnuts) 🌰
  • Shaved dark chocolate 🍫

Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Crust

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, mix almond flour, cocoa powder, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, vanilla, and salt.
  • Press the mixture into a 9-inch tart pan evenly.
  • Bake for 10 minutes, then let it cool completely.

2️⃣ Make the Chocolate Filling

  • In a saucepan, heat coconut milk until warm (not boiling).
  • Remove from heat and add chopped chocolate. Let it sit for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth.
  • Mix in maple syrup, vanilla extract, and sea salt.

3️⃣ Assemble & Chill

  • Pour the chocolate mixture into the cooled crust.
  • Smooth the top and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or overnight) until set.

4️⃣ Garnish & Serve

  • Top with fresh berries, nuts, or shaved chocolate.
  • Slice and enjoy! 🍫✨
