The Best Air Fryer Jalapeno Poppers
Ingredients:
- 12 large jalapeno peppers
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko works well)
- Cooking spray
Instructions:
- Preheat your air fryer to 370°F (187°C).
- Slice the jalapenos in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes. You can wear gloves for this step to avoid irritation from the jalapenos.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Stuff each jalapeno half with the cream cheese mixture, making sure to fill them evenly.
- Place the breadcrumbs in a shallow dish. Roll each stuffed jalapeno half in the breadcrumbs, coating them evenly.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Arrange the coated jalapeno poppers in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry the jalapeno poppers in batches if necessary, depending on the size of your air fryer. Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the poppers are golden brown and crispy.
- Once cooked, remove the jalapeno poppers from the air fryer and allow them to cool slightly before serving.
- Serve the jalapeno poppers with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch or salsa.
