The Best Air Fryer Jalapeno Poppers

  • 12 large jalapeno peppers
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko works well)
  • Cooking spray

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 370°F (187°C).
  2. Slice the jalapenos in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes. You can wear gloves for this step to avoid irritation from the jalapenos.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Stuff each jalapeno half with the cream cheese mixture, making sure to fill them evenly.
  5. Place the breadcrumbs in a shallow dish. Roll each stuffed jalapeno half in the breadcrumbs, coating them evenly.
  6. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Arrange the coated jalapeno poppers in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  7. Air fry the jalapeno poppers in batches if necessary, depending on the size of your air fryer. Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the poppers are golden brown and crispy.
  8. Once cooked, remove the jalapeno poppers from the air fryer and allow them to cool slightly before serving.
  9. Serve the jalapeno poppers with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch or salsa.
