Comfort food alert!
My favorite Tater Tot Casserole.
This is a total family favorite for those busy weeknights when you just need something easy and filling. It’s warm, cheesy, and honestly, who can say no to crispy tots?
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1/2 onion, diced
1 can (10.5 oz) Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom soup
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
Salt and pepper (to taste)
How I do it:
Ok so, first things first—get your oven preheating to 350°F.
Then, I brown the 1 lb of ground beef in a large skillet along with the diced onion. Make sure to drain off the extra fat so it doesn’t get greasy!
Stir in the can of cream of mushroom soup and add your salt and pepper. I usually just do it until it looks right and tastes good to me.
Spread that beef mixture into the bottom of your baking dish (use whatever size you usually use for casseroles).
Sprinkle those 2 cups of shredded cheddar evenly over the meat.
Now for the best part: layer your frozen tater tots on top. I like to line them up in neat rows, but you can just toss them on if you’re in a rush.
Pop it in the oven and bake for 40–45 minutes. You want the tots to be nice and golden-crispy and the middle to be bubbly.
Notes / swaps:
If you aren’t a fan of mushroom, you can totally use cream of chicken soup instead.
If you have it, a little garlic powder in the beef is a great addition!
You can swap the beef for ground turkey if that’s what you have in the freezer.

Serve and enjoy! This one is always a hit! ![]()
