Sticky Miso Honey Salmon Bites.

Sticky Miso Honey Salmon Bites.

Ingredients
For the Salmon
1½ lbs (680g) salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
1 tablespoon olive oil
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon cornstarch
For the Sticky Miso Honey Glaze
2 tablespoons white miso paste
3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
1 teaspoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons water
For Garnish
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
2 green onions, thinly sliced
Lime wedges (optional)
Instructions
Pat the salmon cubes dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper, then toss with cornstarch until lightly coated.
In a small bowl, whisk together the miso paste, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and water until smooth.
Heat olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the salmon cubes in a single layer and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until lightly golden and nearly cooked through. Avoid overcrowding the pan; cook in batches if necessary.
Reduce the heat to medium and pour the miso honey glaze into the skillet.
Gently toss the salmon bites in the sauce and cook for 2–3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the glaze thickens and coats each piece with a shiny, sticky finish.
Remove from heat and transfer to a serving platter.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Serve with lime wedges for a bright finish.
