Diabetic-Friendly Roasted Cauliflower Steaks
Ingredients
- 1 large cauliflower (cut into 1-inch thick “steaks”)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika (or smoked paprika)
- ½ tsp turmeric (optional)
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Fresh parsley or cilantro (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prep cauliflower
Remove leaves and slice into thick steaks (keep core intact so they hold together). - Season
Mix olive oil with spices and brush both sides of each steak. - Roast
Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and tender. - Finish
Drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle herbs before serving.
