Ingredients
“Dough” base (choose one)
- Option 1 (low-carb):
1½ cups almond flour
1 cup shredded mozzarella
2 tbsp cream cheese
1 egg - Option 2 (moderate carb):
Whole wheat crescent dough (use less and make a thinner ring)
Filling
- 1½ cups cooked shredded chicken breast
- 4–6 slices lean turkey ham (or chicken ham)
- ½ cup shredded Swiss or mozzarella cheese (reduced-fat if preferred)
- 2 tbsp Greek yogurt
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- Black pepper
Instructions
- Make low-carb dough (if using almond flour)
Melt mozzarella + cream cheese, mix with almond flour and egg to form dough. - Shape the ring
Place dough on a baking tray in a ring shape (like a wreath). - Prepare filling
Mix chicken, yogurt, mustard, pepper, and chopped ham. - Assemble
Spread filling over the dough ring, sprinkle cheese, fold edges over slightly. - Bake
180°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes until golden.
