Ingredients

  • 2 cups mini pretzel twists or pretzel sticks roughly broken
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar optional, for extra sweetness
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt optional, if using unsalted peanut butter

Instructions

  • Prepare the pretzels
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Break the pretzels into smaller pieces and set aside in a large mixing bowl.
  • Melt the chocolate mixture
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, peanut butter, and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth and fully melted.
  • Add flavor
  • Stir in the vanilla extract. If you prefer a sweeter cluster, mix in the powdered sugar at this stage.
  • Combine with pretzels
  • Pour the warm peanut butter chocolate mixture over the pretzel pieces. Gently stir until the pretzels are evenly coated.
  • Form the clusters
  • Use a spoon or cookie scoop to drop small mounds of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Chill until firm
  • Place the tray in the refrigerator for 30–40 minutes, or until the clusters are fully set.
  • Serve
  • Once firm, remove the clusters from the parchment paper and store them in an airtight container.
