Mushroom patties
Ingredients
1.5 dl TVP
2,5 dl boiling water
1 grated mushroom bouillon cube.
Mixed together and left to rest, while I prepared the shrooms.
250 gr shrooms grated and salted a bit. and left while I ripped another
250 gr shrooms into small pieces.
After finishing tearing them, I squeezed the excess water out of the grated shrooms.
All mixed together along with
2 diced fully ripe figs (from the garden)
2 tbsp of onion powder
1 tbsp of garlic powder
1 tbsp of nutritional yeast
1 splash of tamari/soy
Then I added about
2.5 dl of chick pea flour to make the mixture bind together and – of course – salt and pepper to taste.
Left to rest a while and then fried in rapeseed oil at a medium high heat until golden brown … and the chubby boys was finished of in the oven, for an additional 15 minutes at a 160 degrees Celsius. Because I really dislike the taste of not fully cooked chick pea flour and I also dislike burnt patties.
