Loaded Surf and Turf Fries with Shrimp

Ingredients :

The Fries:

1 lb frozen French fries or homemade fries

Salt and pepper, to taste

The Ground Beef:

1 lb ground beef

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

1/2 cup cheddar cheese, grated, for topping

The Shrimp:

1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 tbsp butter

1 clove garlic, minced

Salt and pepper, to taste

Lemon juice, optional, for brightness

How to Make It:

1. Crisp the Fries

Preheat the oven to 425°F. Spread the fries on a baking sheet, season with salt and pepper, and bake for 20 to 25 minutes until deeply golden and crisp.

2. Brown the Beef

Warm the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, then season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

3. Sauté the Shrimp

In a separate skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and shrimp, then cook for 3 to 4 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and tender, finishing with lemon juice if desired.

4. Layer the Fries

Arrange the hot fries on a large serving plate. Spoon the seasoned beef over the top, followed by the garlicky shrimp.

5. Melt and Serve

Sprinkle the cheddar cheese across the loaded fries. Slide the plate under a hot broiler for 1 to 2 minutes until the cheese melts, then serve immediately.
