Instructions:
- Prepare the Steak:
- Slice your cooked steak thinly if not already done. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper if desired.
- Heat the Tortilla:
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a bit of olive oil or butter. Place one tortilla in the pan.
- Add the Fillings:
- Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese evenly over the tortilla.
- Layer sliced steak, sautéed bell peppers, and onions on top of the cheese.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and cover with the second tortilla.
- Cook the Quesadilla:
- Press gently with a spatula to keep everything together. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the bottom tortilla is golden brown and crispy.
- Carefully flip the quesadilla and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted.
- Serve:
- Remove from the skillet and let it cool for a minute. Slice into wedges.
- Serve with sour cream, guacamole, or a side of salsa for dipping.
