Keto Baked Mozzarella Stuffed
Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef or turkey
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce (sugar-free)
- 8-10 mozzarella cheese cubes
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Prepare the Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine ground meat, shredded mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, almond flour, egg, and seasonings. Mix until well combined.
- Stuff the Meatballs: Take a small portion of the mixture, flatten it, and place a cube of mozzarella cheese in the center. Wrap the meat around the cheese to form a ball. Repeat until all meatballs are ready.
- Bake: Place the meatballs on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the meatballs are fully cooked.
- Add Sauce: Remove the meatballs from the oven and pour marinara sauce over them. Return to the oven for another 5 minutes to warm the sauce.
- Serve: Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and enjoy!
