Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef or thinly sliced steak
- 1 medium green bell pepper (thinly sliced)
- 1 medium onion (thinly sliced)
- 1 cup (100g) mushrooms (sliced)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese (softened)
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil (or butter for cooking)
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). - Cook the Meat:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef or steak slices and cook until browned. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Remove from the skillet and set aside. - Sauté Veggies:
In the same skillet, add bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms. Cook until softened and slightly caramelized. - Make the Creamy Base:
In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, heavy cream, and half the shredded mozzarella. Mix until smooth. - Assemble the Casserole:
In a greased casserole dish, layer the cooked beef, sautéed veggies, and the creamy mixture. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese. - Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. - Serve:
