DIY Oatmilk
Ingredients:
1 cup rolled oats
4 cups filtered water
1-2 tbsp sweetener of your choice (optional)
Pinch of salt
Instructions:
Rinse the oats thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt or debris.
Add the oats and filtered water to a blender, and blend for about 30-60 seconds until smooth and creamy.
If desired, add your sweetener of choice (such as agave syrup, maple syrup, or dates) and a pinch of salt, and blend again until everything is well combined.
Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove any leftover oat pulp.
Transfer the oat milk to a glass jar or bottle, and store it in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
