Crustless Pizza Bake

Ingredients:
- 1 lb lean ground turkey or chicken (93% lean)
- 1 cup marinara sauce (sugar-free or low-sugar)
- 1 cup reduced-fat mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)
- 1/2 cup bell peppers, diced
- 1/2 cup turkey pepperoni slices
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with cooking spray.
- Cook the Meat: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground turkey or chicken until browned. Drain excess liquid if needed.
- Season It: Add garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir in the marinara sauce and mix well.
- Layer It: Transfer the cooked meat mixture to the baking dish. Top with mushrooms, bell peppers, and half of the cheese.
- Add the Toppings: Arrange turkey pepperoni slices over the top and sprinkle the remaining cheese.
- Bake: Place in the oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve & Enjoy! Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
