Crispy Air Fryer Sliced Potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 3 medium potatoes (Russet, Yukon Gold, or red potatoes work well)
  • 1-2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh herbs (like rosemary or thyme), optional for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Potatoes:
    • Wash and peel the potatoes (peeling is optional for a more rustic look).
    • Slice the potatoes into even, thin rounds (about 1/8 inch thick) for even cooking.
  2. Season the Potatoes:
    • In a bowl, toss the potato slices with olive oil, making sure they are coated evenly.
    • Add the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss again until all slices are well-seasoned.
  3. Air Fry:
    • Preheat the air fryer to 190°C (375°F) for a few minutes.
    • Arrange the potato slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. If needed, cook in batches to avoid overcrowding.
    • Air fry for 12-15 minutes, flipping the slices halfway through for even crispiness. Cook until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy.
  4. Serve:
    • Once cooked, remove the slices from the air fryer and sprinkle with additional salt or fresh herbs if desired.
    • Serve hot as a side dish or a snack with your favorite dipping sauce.
