Cheesy Potato Skillet Recipe
Ingredients:
- 4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)
- 1/4 cup cooked and crumbled bacon (optional)
- Sour cream for serving (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Prepare Potatoes: In a large bowl, toss the thinly sliced potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well coated.
- Layer Potatoes: Arrange the seasoned potato slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Air Fry Potatoes: Cook the potatoes in the air fryer for about 10-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Add Cheese: Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the cooked potatoes. Add chopped green onions and cooked, crumbled bacon if desired.
- Continue Cooking: Return the basket to the air fryer and continue cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve: Carefully remove the cheesy potato skillet from the air fryer. Serve hot, garnished with additional chopped green onions and a dollop of sour cream if desired.
