Ingredients
- For The Apple Filling
- 6 medium apples peeled, cored, and sliced
- ½ cup caramel sauce
- ¼ cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- For The Crisp Topping
- 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup cold unsalted butter cubed
Instructions
Rest for 15 minutes before serving warm.
Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly butter a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Toss the sliced apples with brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
Spread half of the apples in the baking dish and drizzle with some of the caramel sauce.
Add the remaining apples and drizzle with the remaining caramel.
Combine the oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
Cut in the cold butter until coarse crumbs form.
Scatter the crumble evenly over the apples.
Bake for 40–50 minutes, until the topping is golden, the filling is bubbling, and the apples are tender.
