Beetroot Relish with Horseradish

📝 Ingredients:

▪️ 1 kg cooked beets

▪️ 100 g fresh horseradish (or 2–3 tablespoons of horseradish from a jar)

▪️ 2 tablespoons sugar

▪️ 1–2 tablespoons of spirits vinegar or lemon juice

▪️ Salt and pepper to taste

👩 🍳 Preparation method:

1️⃣ Cook the beets, cool, peel and grate into a fine grater. Also finely grate or use ready-made horseradish.

2️⃣ Combine the beets with horseradish, add sugar, vinegar or lemon juice, salt and pepper. Mix well.

3️⃣ Transfer the mixture to a sterilized jar or container and refrigerate for several hours before serving, so the flavors blend well.
