Bacon and Egg Sandwich in air fryer

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of bread (your choice of bread)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 slices of bacon
  • Butter or cooking spray
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: cheese, avocado, tomato slices, lettuce, or any other toppings you prefer

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (180°C) for a few minutes.
  2. While the air fryer is preheating, cook the bacon in a skillet on the stovetop until it’s crispy. Set aside on paper towels to drain excess grease.
  3. Using a round cookie cutter or a knife, cut a hole in the center of each slice of bread. This will be where the egg goes.
  4. Lightly butter or spray both sides of the bread slices with cooking spray.
  5. Place the bread slices in the air fryer basket. If your air fryer has a grill or basket accessory for making eggs, you can crack the eggs directly into the holes in the bread. Otherwise, crack the eggs into a small bowl first, then carefully pour them into the holes in the bread.
  6. Season the eggs with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Place the bacon slices on top of the bread slices in the air fryer basket.
  8. Cook in the air fryer for about 6-8 minutes, or until the eggs are cooked to your desired doneness and the bread is toasted to your liking. Keep an eye on it to avoid overcooking.
  9. If you’re adding cheese, you can place a slice on top of each egg during the last minute of cooking to melt it.
  10. Once cooked, carefully remove the bacon and egg sandwich from the air fryer.
  11. Add any additional toppings you like, such as avocado slices, tomato, lettuce, etc.
  12. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious bacon and egg sandwich!
