Bacon and Egg Sandwich in air fryer

Ingredients:
- 2 slices of bread (your choice of bread)
- 2 eggs
- 2 slices of bacon
- Butter or cooking spray
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: cheese, avocado, tomato slices, lettuce, or any other toppings you prefer
Instructions:
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (180°C) for a few minutes.
- While the air fryer is preheating, cook the bacon in a skillet on the stovetop until it’s crispy. Set aside on paper towels to drain excess grease.
- Using a round cookie cutter or a knife, cut a hole in the center of each slice of bread. This will be where the egg goes.
- Lightly butter or spray both sides of the bread slices with cooking spray.
- Place the bread slices in the air fryer basket. If your air fryer has a grill or basket accessory for making eggs, you can crack the eggs directly into the holes in the bread. Otherwise, crack the eggs into a small bowl first, then carefully pour them into the holes in the bread.
- Season the eggs with salt and pepper to taste.
- Place the bacon slices on top of the bread slices in the air fryer basket.
- Cook in the air fryer for about 6-8 minutes, or until the eggs are cooked to your desired doneness and the bread is toasted to your liking. Keep an eye on it to avoid overcooking.
- If you’re adding cheese, you can place a slice on top of each egg during the last minute of cooking to melt it.
- Once cooked, carefully remove the bacon and egg sandwich from the air fryer.
- Add any additional toppings you like, such as avocado slices, tomato, lettuce, etc.
- Serve hot and enjoy your delicious bacon and egg sandwich!
