Air Fryer Frozen Shrimp

Ingredients
Frozen shrimp
Olive oil or cooking spray (optional)
Seasonings of your choice (e.g., salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, lemon zest, or your preferred seasoning mix)
Instructions:

Preheat your air fryer: Start by preheating your air fryer to the recommended temperature, usually around 350-400°F (175-200°C). Preheating helps ensure even cooking.
Prepare the shrimp: If your frozen shrimp is already peeled and deveined, you’re all set. If not, you may need to peel and devein them before cooking. Make sure the shrimp are thawed and pat them dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
Season the shrimp: Season the shrimp with your preferred seasonings. You can use a simple mix of salt, pepper, and a touch of olive oil or cooking spray for extra crispiness. Be creative with your seasonings to add flavor.
Arrange in the air fryer basket: Place the seasoned shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding to allow air to circulate properly, which ensures even cooking. If you have a smaller air fryer, you may need to cook the shrimp in batches.
Air fry the shrimp: Cook the shrimp at the preheated temperature for 5-10 minutes, depending on the size of your shrimp and the temperature. For small to medium-sized shrimp, they may cook in as little as 5-7 minutes, while larger shrimp may take closer to 10 minutes. Keep a close eye on them to prevent overcooking.
Shake or flip (optional): About halfway through the cooking time, you can open the air fryer and shake the basket or flip the shrimp to ensure even cooking. This step is optional but can help achieve more consistent results.
Check for doneness: Test the doneness of the shrimp by cutting one open. They should be opaque and have a firm texture. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C) to ensure they’re fully cooked.
Serve immediately: Once your frozen shrimp are cooked to your desired level of crispiness and doneness, remove them from the air fryer and serve hot. You can enjoy them as an appetizer, over salad, or as part of your favorite seafood dish.
