Air fryer Egg Bites

Ingredients:

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk or heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
  • 1/4 cup cooked bacon, ham, or sausage (optional)
  • 1/4 cup diced vegetables (spinach, bell peppers, onions, etc.)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Whisk eggs and milk in a mixing bowl until well combined. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add mix-ins: Stir in shredded cheese, cooked meat, and diced vegetables.
  4. Prepare the molds: Spray silicone muffin cups or ramekins with cooking spray.
  5. Pour the egg mixture into the prepared cups, filling them about 3/4 of the way.
  6. Cook in the air fryer: Place the filled molds in the air fryer basket and cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the egg bites are set and lightly golden on top.
  7. Check doneness: Insert a toothpick in the center; if it comes out clean, the egg bites are done.
  8. Serve warm: Allow them to cool for a few minutes before removing them from the molds.
