air fryer chicken thighs
Ingredients:
- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp dried thyme
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat the air fryer: Preheat to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Prepare the chicken: Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Rub them with olive oil.
- Season the chicken: In a small bowl, mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Rub the spice mix all over the chicken thighs.
- Cook in the air fryer: Place the chicken thighs in a single layer in the air fryer basket, skin side down. Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 12-15 minutes. Flip the chicken and cook for an additional 10-12 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Rest and serve: Let the chicken thighs rest for 5 minutes before serving.
