AIR FRYER CHEESY HASH BROWN CUPS

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups frozen hash browns, thawed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 370°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Hash Brown Mixture:
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the thawed hash browns, shredded cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, eggs, melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until everything is evenly combined.
    • If you’re using green onions, fold them into the mixture.
  3. Shape the Cups:
    • Lightly spray a silicone muffin mold or metal muffin tin with cooking spray.
    • Divide the hash brown mixture evenly among the cups, pressing the mixture down to form a cup shape.
  4. Cook in the Air Fryer:
    • Carefully place the muffin mold or tin into the preheated air fryer basket.
    • Air fry at 370°F (190°C) for 15-18 minutes, or until the hash brown cups are golden brown and crispy on the edges.
  5. Cool and Serve:
    • Allow the hash brown cups to cool slightly before removing them from the mold.
    • Serve hot, optionally garnished with extra green onions or a dollop of sour cream.
