Air Fryer Baked Garlic Parmesan Potato Wedges

Ingredients:

  • 3 large russet potatoes, cut into wedges
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Potatoes:
    • Wash the russet potatoes thoroughly, then cut them into wedges. Try to keep them of even size for consistent cooking.
  2. Season the Wedges:
    • In a large bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Make sure all the wedges are well-coated with the seasoning.
  3. Preheat the Air Fryer:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  4. Air Fry the Wedges:
    • Place the seasoned potato wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook them in batches to avoid overcrowding.
    • Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  5. Add Parmesan:
    • Once the potato wedges are crispy and golden brown, remove them from the air fryer. Immediately toss them with the grated Parmesan cheese.
  6. Serve:
    • Garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve the potato wedges hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
