afternoon snack
I needed an afternoon snack and wanted something a little “decadent.” Well, some fresh pineapple, some fresh strawberries, half a banana, some Zero Sugar Cool Whip (1 point) and a “drizzle” of sugar free chocolate syrup worked well for me. The Cool Whip was frozen, so it was a little like ice cream, so a 1 point “banana split” was a great choice. I’ve been in a “funk” the last couple of days and have wanted to snack, but have resisted the urge to let food satisfy my feelings. I think this was a good choice instead of chips, cookies, or cheese and crackers, which would have been my pre-WW choices.
Just for fun, I looked up a Dairy Queen Banana Split – 28 points!!!
