- 2 cups mini pretzel twists or pretzel sticks roughly broken
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup butterscotch chips
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil or butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar optional, for extra sweetness
- 1/4 teaspoon salt optional, if using unsalted peanut butter
Instructions
- Prepare the pretzels
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Break the pretzels into smaller pieces and set aside in a large mixing bowl.
- Melt the chocolate mixture
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, peanut butter, and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth and fully melted.
- Add flavor
- Stir in the vanilla extract. If you prefer a sweeter cluster, mix in the powdered sugar at this stage.
- Combine with pretzels
- Pour the warm peanut butter chocolate mixture over the pretzel pieces. Gently stir until the pretzels are evenly coated.
- Form the clusters
- Use a spoon or cookie scoop to drop small mounds of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Chill until firm
- Place the tray in the refrigerator for 30–40 minutes, or until the clusters are fully set.
- Serve
- Once firm, remove the clusters from the parchment paper and store them in an airtight container.
