The Best Cheese On Toast
Ingredients
- 1 Medium Egg Beaten
- ½ Cup Cheddar Shredded, strength to suit
- ¾ tsp English mustard Or similar
- Salt and pepper To season
- 2 slices Granary bread Chunky slices
Instructions
- Heat your grill
- Toast the bread on one side only and then take out from under the grill
- Mix all your other ingredients together until you have a spreadable mixture
- Spread the mixture on the uncooked side of the bread
- Pop back under the grill until the cheese is bubbling and golden. This takes only a few minutes, depending on the heat from your grill
