2 Ingredient Dough Cinnamon Twists – 1 Point on Weight Watchers
Ingredients:
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup non-fat Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons cinnamon
2 tablespoons granulated sugar (optional, or use a sugar substitute for fewer points)
Cooking spray
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Make the 2-Ingredient Dough:
In a mixing bowl, combine the self-rising flour and non-fat Greek yogurt. Stir until a dough forms.
Roll Out the Dough:
Dust a clean surface with a little extra flour.
Roll out the dough into a rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.
Sprinkle Cinnamon and Sugar:
In a small bowl, mix together cinnamon and granulated sugar.
Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the rolled-out dough.
Fold and Cut:
Fold the dough in half, pressing gently to seal the edges.
Use a sharp knife or pizza cutter to cut the dough into strips, creating twists.
Twist the Dough:
Take each strip and twist it a few times to create a twisted shape.
Bake:
Place the twisted dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or sprayed with cooking spray.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until the twists are golden brown.
Optional Glaze:
If desired, you can make a simple glaze by mixing powdered sugar with a small amount of water or milk. Drizzle the glaze over the twists after they come out of the oven.
Serve:
Allow the cinnamon twists to cool slightly before serving.
