2 Ingredient Dough Cinnamon Twists – 1 Point on Weight Watchers

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (optional, or use a sugar substitute for fewer points)
  • Cooking spray

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Make the 2-Ingredient Dough:
    • In a mixing bowl, combine the self-rising flour and non-fat Greek yogurt. Stir until a dough forms.
  3. Roll Out the Dough:
    • Dust a clean surface with a little extra flour.
    • Roll out the dough into a rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.
  4. Sprinkle Cinnamon and Sugar:
    • In a small bowl, mix together cinnamon and granulated sugar.
    • Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the rolled-out dough.
  5. Fold and Cut:
    • Fold the dough in half, pressing gently to seal the edges.
    • Use a sharp knife or pizza cutter to cut the dough into strips, creating twists.
  6. Twist the Dough:
    • Take each strip and twist it a few times to create a twisted shape.
  7. Bake:
    • Place the twisted dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or sprayed with cooking spray.
    • Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until the twists are golden brown.
  8. Optional Glaze:
    • If desired, you can make a simple glaze by mixing powdered sugar with a small amount of water or milk. Drizzle the glaze over the twists after they come out of the oven.
  9. Serve:
    • Allow the cinnamon twists to cool slightly before serving.
