Vegan spicy smothered green beans over rice


sautéed onion and garlic in that same pan (I used 1/2 a yellow onion and a bunch of garlic I don’t remember how much but I love garlic, use what your heart says you should)
spread the onions to the perimeter of the pan throw in some flour (I probably used about 3 tablespoons)
Let the flower brown then added some earth balance butter ( use whatever you prefer)
Then, SLOWLY incorporate vegetable stock (I used a full box by the end of it)
You’ll have a thiQ paste then add ya green beans
Cover em with the rest of the stock
Cook that down for a while, maybe 20 minutes
Then add your diced potatoes
And whatever Cajun seasoning you like
I used: black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne, white pepper, chili flakes, and some cumin.
Let all them flavors get to know each other and the potatoes cook til they’re nice and soft, your gravy should be reduced and nice and THIQQQQ then it’s done, k served over rice because my heart said to! Do what your heart says!
