Vegan Homemade Chocolate Oat Milk 🥛🍫🌱

Ingredients (Makes ~3 cups)
- ½ cup rolled oats (gluten-free if needed)
- 2 ½ cups cold water
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp maple syrup (or agave, date syrup)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
- ½ tsp cinnamon (optional, for warmth)
- 3-4 ice cubes (helps prevent sliminess)
Instructions
1️⃣ Blend Everything
- Add oats, water, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla, salt, and ice cubes to a blender.
- Blend on high for 30-45 seconds (don’t overblend to avoid sliminess).
2️⃣ Strain the Oat Milk
- Pour the mixture through a nut milk bag, cheesecloth, or fine mesh strainer into a bowl or jug.
- Squeeze gently to extract all the liquid.
3️⃣ Chill & Serve
- Transfer to a bottle and refrigerate for up to 4 days.
- Shake well before serving.
