Vegan Fried “Chicken”

Ingredients:
2 cups oyster mushrooms/tofu
1 cup plant milk + 1 tbsp vinegar
1 cup flour, ½ cup cornstarch
1 tbsp paprika, 1 tsp garlic & onion powder, salt, pepper
Oil for frying
Instructions:
Soak mushrooms/tofu in vegan buttermilk (milk + vinegar) for 15 min.
Mix flour, cornstarch, and spices. Coat pieces in dry mix, dip back into buttermilk, then coat again.
Fry until crispy & golden. Drain and enjoy!
