Tuna Egg Salad

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of tuna (5-6 oz), drained
  • 3 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 celery stalk, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lettuce leaves or bread, for serving

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Ingredients:
    • Hard boil the eggs, peel, and chop them into small pieces.
    • Drain the canned tuna and place it in a mixing bowl.
  2. Combine Ingredients:
    • Add the chopped eggs, celery, red onion, and parsley (if using) to the bowl with the tuna.
  3. Make the Dressing:
    • In a separate small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  4. Mix Everything Together:
    • Pour the dressing over the tuna mixture and gently stir to combine all the ingredients.
  5. Adjust Seasoning:
    • Taste the salad and adjust the seasoning with more salt, pepper, or lemon juice if needed.
  6. Serve:
    • Serve the tuna egg salad on lettuce leaves, in a sandwich, or with crackers.
