Tuna Egg Salad
Ingredients:
- 1 can of tuna (5-6 oz), drained
- 3 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 celery stalk, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lettuce leaves or bread, for serving
Instructions:
- Prepare Ingredients:
- Hard boil the eggs, peel, and chop them into small pieces.
- Drain the canned tuna and place it in a mixing bowl.
- Combine Ingredients:
- Add the chopped eggs, celery, red onion, and parsley (if using) to the bowl with the tuna.
- Make the Dressing:
- In a separate small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Mix Everything Together:
- Pour the dressing over the tuna mixture and gently stir to combine all the ingredients.
- Adjust Seasoning:
- Taste the salad and adjust the seasoning with more salt, pepper, or lemon juice if needed.
- Serve:
- Serve the tuna egg salad on lettuce leaves, in a sandwich, or with crackers.
