SUPREME PIZZA POCKETS

SUPREME PIZZA POCKETS RECIPE :

INGREDIENTS  

  • 1 package Pillsbury pizza dough
  • 16 slices pepperoni
  • 1 cup reduced-fat shredded mozzarella
  • 8 tablespoon pizza sauce
  • ⅓ cup diced peppers, I used red & green
  • ⅓ cup diced onion
  • ⅓ cup diced mushrooms *cut into very small pieces
  • 1 tbsp grated parmesan
  • Italian seasoning

INSTRUCTIONS 

  • Preheat the oven to 425F, spray a baking sheet with some non stick spray.
  • On a flat surface, roll out the pizza dough, cut it into 8 equal square or rectangle pieces.
  • Place the cut dough pieces onto the baking sheet, using just one side of the dough add 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce, 2 tablespoon of mozzarella, 2 slices of pepperoni, and a sprinkle of peppers, onions and mushrooms.
  • Fold over the dough and form a triangle pocket shape, pinch any seams closed.
  • Lightly spray the tops with some of the cooking spray, sprinkle with a little parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.
  • Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes or until the dough is golden brown, let cool for 5 minutes. Serve with some pizza sauce or ranch/garlic for dipping.
