  • 1 large green cabbage

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt & pepper to taste

For the Sauce:

  • 2 cups crushed tomatoes (no sugar added)
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste (check label โ€“ no added sugar)
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ยฝ tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt & pepper
  • Optional: pinch of erythritol if tomatoes taste too acidic

  1. Prepare cabbage
    • Core cabbage and boil whole head 5โ€“8 minutes.
    • Peel off softened leaves carefully.
    • Trim thick stem if needed.
  2. Make filling
    • Mix ground meat, cauliflower rice, onion, garlic, egg, and seasonings.
    • Do not overmix.
  3. Roll
    • Place 2โ€“3 tbsp filling in each leaf.
    • Fold sides in and roll tightly.
  4. Prepare sauce
    • Mix crushed tomatoes, paste, oil, and seasonings.
  5. Assemble
    • Spread a little sauce on bottom of baking dish.
    • Place rolls seam-side down.
    • Pour remaining sauce on top.
  6. Bake
    • Cover with foil.
    • Bake at 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) for 60โ€“75 minutes.
