Slow Cooker Apple Kielbasa Bites
Ingredients
1 lb kielbasa sausage, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
2 large apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
Directions
- Place the sliced kielbasa into your slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix together the chopped apples, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Pour the apple mixture over the kielbasa in the slow cooker.
- Add the chopped onion on top of the apple and kielbasa mixture.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, stirring occasionally, until the apples are tender and the kielbasa is glazed.
- Serve warm, garnished with a sprinkle of fresh parsley if desired.
