Ingredients:
- 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup (180ml) milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Butter or oil for cooking
Instructions:
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Prepare Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined; some lumps are okay. Do not overmix, as this can make the pancakes dense.
