Oatmeal Banana Chocolate Cake No Sugar

Got Oatmeal, Bananas and Cocoa? Try this simple No Sugar No Oil healthy Oatmeal Chocolate Cake drizzled in melted dark chocolate for a Guilt free Healthy Dessert.

Ingredients

  • 90g | 1 Cup – Rolled Oats (Old Fashioned)
  • 240g | 1 Cup Hot milk
  • 287g | 2 Ripe Large Bananas (8 to 9 inches long)
  • 2 – Large Eggs
  • 2 Tablespoons | 20g Cocoa powder
  • 40g chopped roasted Peanuts (Optional)
  • 2 1/2 Teaspoon Baking powder
  • 40g Chopped Walnuts, for Topping (Optional)

Chocolate Drip

  • 70g Dark Chocolate
  • 1 Teaspoon Coconut Oil

Instructions

  • Mix Rolled Oats with Hot Milk. Rest for 10-15 mins.
  • Mash two ripe Bananas well. Add two eggs, Cocoa powder, the soaked oats and Baking powder.
  • Mix in the chopped peanuts for added protein and texture.
  • Transfer to a 7 inch pan and top with few chopped Walnuts
  • Bake @180C for 35-40mins in a 7 inch pan. 
  • Melt dark chocolate chunks with a bit of coconut oil. Drizzle on top of the cooled cake.

Notes

This Cake is not overly sweet as it depends on the bananas solely for the sweetness so always use Over ripe Bananas to get more sweetness. You can also add few tablespoons of Date or Maple Syrup or any sweetener of your choice to make it taste sweeter. Coconut sugar or freshly blended soaked Dates or applesauce are also great healthy alternatives.
