1/2 cup unsweetened peanut butter or almond butter
1/4 cup honey or sugar-free sweetener
2 cups sugar-free white chocolate chips
Instructions:
Prepare the Pan: Line a small baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
Make the Nougat Layer: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the peanut butter (or almond butter) with honey or sweetener for about 20-30 seconds until soft. Stir well.
Add the Nuts: Add in the roasted almonds (or your preferred nuts) to the mixture and mix until well coated.
Set the Nougat Layer: Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and press it down firmly. Let it cool and set in the fridge for about 20-30 minutes.
Melt the Chocolate: In another microwave-safe bowl, melt the sugar-free white chocolate chips. Stir every 20-30 seconds until smooth.
Top the Nougat: Once the nougat layer has set, pour the melted white chocolate over it. Spread it evenly.
Chill: Return the pan to the fridge and chill for at least 1 hour, or until fully set.
Cut and Serve: Once set, cut into bars and enjoy your 4-ingredient nougat bars!
