Low-Carb High-Protein Cheesy Olive Bites

Savory, cheesy olive bites with a crispy outside and soft center. These make a great low-carb snack, appetizer, or meal-prep option.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • ¾ cup almond flour
  • 1 scoop unflavored protein powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Filling

  • 20 large green or black olives, drained well

Optional Add-Ins

  • 2 tbsp chopped jalapeños
  • 2 tbsp chopped turkey pepperoni
  • Fresh herbs

Instructions

1. Prep

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

2. Make the Dough

In a bowl combine:

  • Mozzarella
  • Parmesan
  • Almond flour
  • Protein powder
  • Egg
  • Garlic powder
  • Italian seasoning
  • Pepper

Mix until a thick dough forms.


3. Wrap the Olives

  • Scoop about 1 tablespoon dough.
  • Flatten in your hand.
  • Place an olive in the center.
  • Wrap dough completely around olive.
  • Roll into a ball.

Repeat with remaining olives.


4. Bake

  • Arrange bites on baking tray.
  • Bake 12–15 minutes until golden brown.

5. Serve

Serve warm with:

  • Marinara sauce
  • Greek yogurt ranch
  • Spicy aioli

Air Fryer Option

  • Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 8–10 minutes.

Extra Protein Boosts

  • Add blended cottage cheese to dough
  • Use high-protein mozzarella
  • Serve with a Greek yogurt dip
