KFC Style Keto Chicken

Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) chicken (drumsticks, thighs, or breast strips)
- 1 cup almond flour (or crushed pork rinds for extra crunch)
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese (optional, for more crispiness)
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp psyllium husk (helps with crisp texture)
- 1 tsp baking powder (for extra crunch)
KFC-Style Seasoning:
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp dried basil
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional for spice)
Instructions:
1️⃣ In a bowl, whisk the egg and mix with heavy cream.
2️⃣ In another bowl, combine almond flour (or pork rinds), parmesan cheese, psyllium husk, baking powder, and all the seasoning.
3️⃣ Dip each chicken piece into the egg mixture, then coat it well with the dry mixture.
4️⃣ Place the coated chicken on a plate and let it rest for 5-10 minutes (this helps the coating stick).
5️⃣ Heat oil (avocado or coconut oil) in a pan over medium heat. Fry chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
6️⃣ Alternatively, air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 18-22 minutes, flipping halfway.
