Keto Garlic Parmesan Knots

Ingredients:
- For the dough:
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 oz cream cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt
- For the garlic butter topping:
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Make the Dough:
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the mozzarella cheese and cream cheese. Microwave for about 30 seconds, stir, then heat for another 30 seconds until melted and smooth.
- In a separate bowl, mix the almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt.
- Add the melted cheese mixture and the egg to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms. You may want to use your hands to knead it a bit until smooth.
- Shape the Knots:
- Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a long rope (about 6 inches) and tie it into a knot. Place the knots on the prepared baking sheet.
- Prepare the Garlic Butter:
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning.
- Bake:
- Brush the garlic butter mixture over the knots, reserving some for brushing after baking.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Finish and Serve:
- Once out of the oven, brush the remaining garlic butter on top of the knots. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
