Keto Garlic Butter Fish

Ingredients
- 2-4 fish fillets (salmon, cod, or tilapia work great)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter (or ghee for a nutty flavor)
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika (optional, for color and a mild kick)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1 tsp dried parsley (or 1 tbsp fresh, chopped)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Prepare the fish: Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat the pan: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Cook the fish: Place the fillets in the hot pan. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side (depending on thickness) until golden and flaky. Remove the fish and set aside.
- Make the garlic butter:
- Reduce the heat to medium.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in the lemon juice and parsley.
- Combine and serve: Return the fish to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter sauce over it. Let it simmer for 1-2 minutes to soak up the flavors.
- Garnish and enjoy: Serve hot with lemon wedges and your favorite keto sides, like sautéed zucchini noodles, cauliflower rice, or steamed broccoli.
