Keto Garlic Bread

Ingredients:
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 oz cream cheese (about 1/4 cup)
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/2 cups almond flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt, to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced (for garlic butter)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for garlic butter)
Instructions:
Step 1: Make the dough
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella and cream cheese. Microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between, until melted and fully combined.
- Add the egg to the melted cheese mixture and stir until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
- Slowly incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, mixing until a dough forms.
Step 2: Shape and bake
- Shape the dough into a loaf or small breadsticks (you can divide the dough into 6-8 portions for breadsticks or form one large loaf).
- Place the dough onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown on top and firm to the touch.
Step 3: Make the garlic butter
- While the bread is baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and olive oil to the pan. Sauté for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, until fragrant.
Step 4: Serve
- Once the bread is done baking, remove it from the oven and brush the garlic butter generously over the top of the bread.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley, if desired.
