Keto-Friendly Low-Carb Nacho Platter

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack of keto-friendly tortilla chips (or you can make your own using cheese crisps)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite keto cheese)
  • 1/2 cup cooked ground beef or chicken (optional for added protein)
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (adjust to spice preference)
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes (optional, for a fresh touch)
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (for serving)
  • 1/4 cup guacamole (for serving)
  • 1 tbsp fresh cilantro (optional, for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the base: Lay your keto-friendly tortilla chips (or homemade cheese crisps) on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  3. Melt the cheese: Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the chips. You can add some other keto-friendly cheeses like mozzarella if you like.
  4. Add toppings: Top the cheese with cooked ground beef or chicken (if using), diced red onions, sliced jalapeños, and black olives.
  5. Bake: Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 5-7 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Finish and serve: Remove from the oven and top with fresh diced tomatoes (optional), sour cream, guacamole, and a sprinkle of cilantro for garnish.
